Sarah: Maximum Balloon - Groove Me
Argh! I love that Rhianna track - love love love it!!! I am going to have to get that album (and you're right, Drake is a very ugly man! Who knew? Haha)
I have been listening to the new Maximum Balloon album (self titled). It's first single - Groove Me - is so catchy and happy and amazing - I can't get enough of it. It has just the right amount of 80's synth to make me nostalgic without sounding rehashed and Theophilus London makes it sound totally modern and sexy (if you will).
David Andrew Sitek (Maximum Balloon) is the guitarist from TV On The Radio (another band I LOVE) and this is his solo album.
Every song is featuring some excellent vocalist which gives it a compilation album vibe - but it still manages to be a fluid album of "matching" songs. Am I making sense? I don't know. *note to self; never become a music reviewer*
