Lady Gaga or Agyness Deyn?

Bloody Lady Gaga. It took me a very long time to understand why anyone would want to listen to her music, and even longer to appreciate her as a Pop artist (sorry, but I am from the Old School where we realise that Madonna has been there, done that and did it better the first time around!).

I'm now trying to digest this awful American Vogue cover, where she has been "Wintourised" to within an inch of her life and still looks so... Gaga!

Maybe it's because i'm not a fan and therefore I have no interest in her being on the cover of my magazine. Or maybe it's because she is a walking contradiction and it's getting annoying? Or maybe it';s just because it's not a pretty cover. Who knows? I quite like the Terry Richardson "Meat as a Dress" Gaga cover for Vogue Nippon better than this. Sorry Wintour, this to me is a a FAIL.

I read a brilliant article about it here:

What do you think?

Peter: Lady Gaga can't really do pretty. I must agree I'm not liking this new Vogue cover or the bleached eyebrows. But then I don't think celebrities are ever good on fashion magazine covers.

Can you explain where the Nippon comes from??

Lady Gaga = FAIL. Anything she does..
I didn't care about her until she became ART DIRECTOR of POLAROID! That just made me cry. Putting a such a.... non thinkable person in charge of classic company.

I think she makes sense for Polaroid - she has taps into the modern Warhol vibe.
