This post is devoted to the amazing Rara who pointed us toward this new documentary on Bill Cunningham. I hadn't heard of him before but it looks interesting. I like his quote about celebrities and free clothes.

Sarah: I read somewhere recently that Lara Stone is the patron saint of French Vogue. So I went home to investigate (by hauling out my somewhat limited but much loved collection of French Vogue). Turns out the rumours are true - Craine loves her a pasty, big breasted, gap toothed English rose! I would love if she would get some eyebrows though... x

Sarah: Tom Ford gold - yet again!

I feel like this December is the month of Tom Ford Fabulousness... Or is that every month of every year?

Here are two pictures of his latest catwalk show starring (who else?) Beyonce and Liya Kebede! Tom Ford is is sending a message out to the world - he wants me to go to him and be his muse and model his collection and bask in his presence... I'm coming Tom Ford, see you soon!

Sarah: Speaking of beauty... Lea T anyone?

So, I know you hadn't heard much about Lea T - and neither had I until stumbled accross an article about her in the Givenchy Ads, and realised she is a transgender model! (Quick update: Lea T was born Leandro Cezero - the son of a famous Brazilian Soccer star and worked as the PA to Ricardo Tisci until he cast her in his Fall 2010 Givenchy ads. Carine Roitfeld quickly saw her chance to push another boundary - and continue the fabulousness of French Vogue - and featured a nude photo of the Transgender model... the rest is history!)

Now, in the interest of not sounding ignorant or offending the rest of the world, I am not quite sure how I feel about this? I mean, Lea T is obviously super stunning and a perfect model (all long hair, long limbs and sexy androgyny) but I am not so comfortable with the thought that Lea T, the gorgeous woman who used to be a gorgeous man - is a prettier woman than me?! Haha. Jealous Much? Yes. Yes I am... Damn it.

Sarah: Fab Collab!

Hooray! Cheers to fabulous collaborations! Big Roitfeld and Little Restoin-Roitfeld, Tom Ford and French Vogue, Sarah and Peter... the list is endless (Ok, the list is only three collaborations long right now, but what a list it is!)

Thank You Tom Ford for giving me a legitimate reason to, once again, rush out and buy French Vogue! I can breathe a sigh of relief that my critics will be silenced for another month (so what if I can't read French, TOM FORD is the guest editor - it's a collectors edition!).

Meanwhile, Peter, I watched the video again and... no, sorry - I still hate it.

It's the kind of abstract fashion creation that makes me want to hurt myself whenever Fashion TV is on. The music, the faux intensity, the "symbolism". I don't buy it, or like it. However I love the Restoin-Roitfeld, so it is saved in the end.

One of the many things Sarah and I share is a mild fascination love! for the Restoin-Roitfeld. That's why we will be anxiously awaiting her inevitable appearance in the December issue of French Vogue, guest edited by fellow fan Tom Ford.
